After just under a year of construction, the property, which has been completely renovated to make it energy-efficient, was successfully handed over to the Wohnungsbau Rüschlikon foundation on 3 June 2021.
 
Located at Pilgerweg 45, the building from the late 1950s houses a Spar supermarket on the ground floor and two flats with spacious roof terraces on the upper floor.
 
At the beginning of December, SPAR was able to move into its shop premises and reopen for the people of Rüschlikon following extensive remediation work and interior refurbishment by the tenants.
 
The wooden façade, designed in green and grey tones, as well as the roof, terraces and surroundings have now also been completed. The entire project was realised with a majority of local companies.
