The Waldhotel Health & Medical Excellence is part of the Bürgenstock Resort on the Bürgenberg in central Switzerland. The resort is located at around 850 metres above sea level and has 383 rooms and suites in four hotels, 67 residence suites and a wide range of leisure facilities.

The Waldhotel with a total area of 28,350 m² was built between 2014 and 2017. The fit-out standard of the new building is in the 5-star range. With a special focus on health and medical excellence, it is intended to attract health tourism customers, among others.

The building is located on the north side of the Bürgenberg, for the most part directly on a rocky slope, and is shaped like a terraced house to fit in with the natural terrain. The building extends over ten storeys. In addition, suites are integrated into the terracing of the slope over a length of approx. 20 metres on the east side.

The Waldhotel has 160 rooms, including 10 suites and an executive suite. In addition to the classic hotel rooms and suites, the Waldhotel offers a restaurant with show kitchen, a bar and lobby area, a conference area and a spa area with saunas, indoor pool, fitness room and treatment rooms. In addition, there is a complete medical centre offering various treatments and a beauty & dental area.
