The student residence project consists of an open courtyard building, a parking garage and a public park. The building has 6 floors above ground where 582 rooms and student amenities are allocated. The garage is used for 130 parking spaces, bicycle storage and technical rooms. The landscaping of the park, covering an area of approximately 10,000 square metres, also included the restoration of some existing industrial elements. The student residence's plant system includes a district heating connection and supplementary heat pump air conditioning and a mechanical ventilation system for all rooms. The performance of the systems is supervised by a BMS system. Thanks to a design attentive to sustainability issues, the building is LEED Gold certified.
