Business Process Automation

FAST AND SECURE ACCESS TO PROJECT INFORMATION

Operational security through automated operational processes

Project managers are faced with an ever-increasing volume of data that, without proper management, becomes more of a hindrance than a solution. Many large companies still rely on manual execution for their major projects. These outdated methods hinder overall business development and limit competitiveness.

  • Managing a large volume of documents to obtain basic data and reliable information is not an easy task.
  • Manual processes are lengthy and subject to human error. Automation addresses these problems and increases reliability.
  • The automation of business processes requires a representation of data and information flows.
  • Such automation helps manage processes, reorganize workflows, and, if necessary, provide corresponding tools.
  • After a thorough review of internal procedures, improvement proposals can be made, and outdated practices can be replaced with newer and more flexible methods.
  • Many project managers lack a structured overview of their projects in terms of costs, time, or quality. Once issues related to workflow representation and database structures are resolved, decision-making becomes much simpler, and strategic planning can be built on solid and robust information.

Three steps for automating operational processes

STEP 1: 360° ANALYSIS, DEFINITION OF OBJECTIVES, CHOICE OF THEMES.

All stakeholders discuss their objectives and correlated factors in workshops that we facilitate. We verify all available incoming data and, together with the participants, define the content that needs to be evaluated as well as their level of detail. At this stage, a first draft of results can already be established for an initial overview.

STEP 2: DATA COLLECTION AND EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS

We work closely with you, including on-site if necessary. Collecting and evaluating data requires special attention. During the data collection phase, our experts design internal processes to determine possible improvements in process management. We then develop solutions and present them to you for review and feedback. This iterative process allows us to fine-tune the solutions to your specific needs and requirements.

STEP 3: IMPLEMENTATION OF SOLUTIONS, TEAM TRAINING, AND SUPPORT

Once our experts have determined the potential for process optimization, they present the results, including a comparison of the processes before and after Drees & Sommer's consultancy. In addition to optimization tools and process design, we offer training and assist your team in implementing the changes.
