CO2 conscious production in the Aviation Aerospace Industry
Reducing costs and ensuring competitiveness: The manufacturing industry faces the challenges of reducing carbon dioxide emissions and ensuring CO2 conscious production, processes and supply chains. We support companies as they transition to CO2 conscious production and, if they want to take things a step further, to become a Beneficial Company.
How can you achieve your climate goals?
- What climate protection targets do you need to achieve in the short and medium term – and how will you demonstrate your results?
- Do you know the carbon reduction potential in your real estate, technical infrastructure and production processes?
- Do you know your corporate carbon footprint?
- Do you want to become a “Beneficial Company”?
Your way to CO2 conscious production
Only those companies that produce sustainably and are efficient will remain successful and competitive in the long term. That's why we support you in developing a CO2 strategy and becoming a Beneficial Company, that is, an organization that, as well as being commercially successful, provides the greatest possible benefit for the environment and society.
Our approach is based on the principle ‘Measure, Reduce, Offset’: First, we carry out a detailed analysis of the current situation and record your carbon emissions. Based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol our focus is on direct emissions from combustion processes, indirect emissions from energy production, and all other indirect emissions from your company’s activities. We then examine and define your carbon reduction potential and show you economically viable measures for reducing emissions. On request, we also support the implementation of these measures, as well as subsequent monitoring and reporting.
COMPANY’S DIRECT EMISSIONS
- Combustion of fuels
- Chemical and physical processes
- Heating and cooling
- Company vehicle fleet
COMPANY’S INDIRECT EMISSIONS
- External energy supply (power, district heating/cooling)
ALL OTHER INDIRECT EMISSIONS
- Business travel (bus, rail, air, taxi)
- Employee commuting
- Water consumption
- Paper consumption
- Manufacture of primary products and raw materials
- Construction materials used
- Procurement of material, products and services
The benefits for you
- Clarity about your own carbon footprint
- Overview of savings potential
- Carbon neutrality strategy
- Cost-efficient practical measures
Let's talk.
