The MesseTurm tower in the Westend district of Frankfurt was the highest building in Europe in the 1990's and still shapes the skyline of the city today. It was completed in 1991 and has 63 floors spread over 257 metres. The MesseTurm will be made future-proof in terms of efficiency and energy by 2016.
