The aim of this cooperation is to help customers in the design and implementation of hydrogen strategies and projects. Both companies want to contribute to the achievement of the European climate goals by helping industrial companies and public authorities to reduce their emissions. Within the framework of the new hydrogen cooperation, Horváth and Drees & Sommer support customers in the development of climate-friendly business models, the establishment of hydrogen ecosystems as well as the transformation of production facilities and complete infrastructures for the use of hydrogen as part of the gradual replacement of fossil fuels for use in production or the supply of other areas of use. In the future, cooperation is to be expanded internationally in order to further strengthen the competitiveness of customers. To this end, the consulting companies have commissioned the former German Federal Government hydrogen delegate, Dr. Stefan Kaufmann. The renowned hydrogen expert was in charge of "green hydrogen" innovation at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) from June 2020 to July 2022.
