The energy transition starts with all of us and even golf courses can contribute by making their energy consumption more environmentally friendly. By using photovoltaic systems in combination with battery storage, energy-intensive consumers such as high-performance pumps and catering areas can be operated more ecologically and cost-efficiently.
Another important aspect is the integration of charging stations for electric cars into a new overall energy system. In this way, golf courses make an important contribution to the mobility transition and not only offer cost savings, but also open up the possibility of generating additional revenue.
We will shed light on this topic at a "Smart Breakfast" and shape the future of sustainable golf courses together.
This event is organized by Drees & Sommer in cooperation with the BVGA.
