When applied to existing buildings, the term legalization of existing buildings refers to securing new statutory approvals. Many production sites have undergone modifications and conversions over decades. In such cases, there is a risk that the operating or building permit is no longer valid. Affected companies must obtain new approval. If they don’t, their operating permit expires. Frequently, for example, proper fire protection measures are no longer in place or the building no longer complies with building permits. We then check the established building and make it fully compliant again.
