Growth potential in southern Germany and in the public sector
Benefits of the merger include increasing Drees & Sommer’s market presence and service capacity, particularly in southern Germany. The company sees the public sector as a particularly promising growth area – for example, the construction of affordable housing or supporting public clients in the education and school construction sectors. Drees & Sommer’s aim is the seamless digital integration of service phases 5 to 8. The merger contributes to the achievement of these strategic goals.
M3 customers benefit from increased personnel capacity and wide-ranging expertise
As part of Drees & Sommer, m3 is better positioned to act as a central point of contact for customers requiring construction management services. In future, m3 customers will benefit from the increased personnel capacity and wide-ranging expertise of the entire Drees & Sommer Group, particularly when working on complex major projects.
m3 Bauprojektmanagement GmbH will continue to develop the portfolio as ‘m3 – Part of Drees & Sommer’ under the leadership of the current managing directors Thomas Abt, Frank Haake and Joachim Konetzki. m3 Retail – Concepts GmbH will remain independent. m3 Generalplanung GmbH has been dissolved.
