2023 in Frankfurt am Main started very specially as we not only had renewed motivation and drive, but also a new office. In recent years, our day-to-day work has become much faster and more dynamic, and these changes have also had an impact on our office space. Our colleagues from Frankfurt were all the more pleased that their new office now not only reflects their newfound dynamism and flexibility, but also promotes it.
3 important aspects for successfully establishing New Work concepts:
- Change management: New Work concepts also mean change at the same time, whether technical or corporate culture changes. Managers should therefore ensure the change is rationally and emotionally understood within the company.
- Communication management: New Work concepts should reflect the values and identity of a company. It is therefore advisable to actively involve employees in the process. Communication is the key as it is the only way to ensure smooth change and create transparency and security for everyone involved.
- Move management: The new requirements for effective and innovative use of the office sometimes require a move to a new building. Optimized planning and coordination are essential to ensure a smooth and routine move.

“The biggest challenge? Being your own biggest critic and having a whole team full of colleagues giving you direct feedback. But in the end, that’s also what makes this task so much fun! Christopher Hestermann, Team Leader, Drees & Sommer
