A new school campus "EIDE" in Differdange

The municipality of Differdange commissioned Drees & Sommer at the beginning of 2016 with project control services for the new construction of the transition structure of the International School. The primary objective was to find a solution to carry out the construction work within a tight schedule. The transitional structure was realized on the site of Differdange's former waste management yard. To ensure that the school could start its regular operations for 450 students from Sept. 2019, the work was awarded to a general contractor through a functional tender. The realisation was carried out within 11 months. The transitional structure is one of 3 three individual buildings on this site.
