AOK Waldshut-Tiengen

The new five-storey AOK customer center in Waldshut-Tiengen doubles as the statutory health insurer’s headquarters for the Hochrhein-Bodensee region (Upper Rhine Valley and Lake Constance). On the Rhine river side, the building includes a two-storey health center. Some 130 customer service staff work in the 6,000 square meter customer center. The top storey features an open-plan office in which none of the workplaces are permanently assigned. The office concept is rounded out by quiet rooms for phone calls, and rooms for meetings and brief discussions. All areas of the building are wheelchair-accessible.
