CAIRE Medical's New Chengdu Facility

Originally a U.S.-based medical device manufacturer, CAIRE Medical Technology (Chengdu) Co. Ltd. relocated its production facilities to a new location in Chengdu, a vibrant metropolis in southwest China, in early 2024. 
 
Drees & Sommer successfully completed this critical relocation project for CAIRE to a 4,500 sqm facility in a local industrial park. This included managing the tender process for a local design institute and general contractor, as well as overseeing construction management on site. 
 
Despite the tight timeline imposed by the move date, the project was completed in just 4 months instead of the original 6 months. Quality management and cost control were implemented to ensure a seamless transition to the new location.
