Deutsches Haus is a pioneering, premium-class office tower in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The 25-story building consists of 28,000 net square meters and houses the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany. This makes it a destination for German companies aiming to promote German-Vietnamese relations.
Drees & Sommer worked in close collaboration with the architectural firm gmp to develop the building envelope as an externally ventilated, double-skin façade system—the first ever to be built in Vietnam. The Drees & Sommer team supported the project through all project phases, including the monitoring of mock-up, workshop, and site quality.
