The city of Frankfurt am Main plans to develop the transport infrastructure for the Europaviertel district by extending the urban railway route Stadtbahn B. The overall project comprises the construction of a two-track light railway line with a length of about 2,750 meters from Frankfurt Central Station, which will be operated in future as part of the subway line U5.
