The Free State of Saxony is creating a modern building complex for Leipzig University's inner city site with the new Augustusplatz Campus.
Besides the new canteen, lecture theatre and university building, the existing seminar building was also renovated. The centrepiece is the multifunctional auditorium constructed on the former site of the Pauline Church that should serve as a meeting place and the new spiritual centre of the university.
