The "Nuovo Centro Congressi Roma" is a conference center with a hotel building.
The building can be roughly divided into two main areas: The "Teca" and the "Lama".
The "Teca" is a glass cube that serves in particular as a huge reception hall with checkrooms and meeting rooms. In this large, column-free space floats an organically shaped white cloud, "La Nuvola", which houses an auditorium for around 1800 people, a foyer area and a café.
Somewhat distanced from the glass cube is the black hotel slab, "Lama", where about 450 hotel rooms for congress visitors are located.
