Siemens Campus Erlangen

There is a new, lively district in the south of the city of Erlangen on the 540,000 square meter site of the former Siemens research site. The buildings are equipped with modern office infrastructure and form an attractive campus for the work of tomorrow with spacious green and open areas, and catering, shopping and service facilities. The Siemens Campus therefore has everything that a resilient office and research location needs to offer today: a CO2-neutral energy supply, state-of-the-art building and energy technology, ecological building materials, an innovative mobility concept and adaptable building structures. Drees & Sommer has been supporting the project with comprehensive project management services from a single source since 2014. As a competent and reliable partner, the experts are at the client’s side with stable and comprehensive cost and schedule control from the competition through to the acquisition of building rights and the final handover to the respective tenants. The first major construction phase consisted of 12 new office buildings, six multi-story car parks, a laboratory building, a training center and the new central reception building, and was completed at the end of 2022. The new campus will continue to grow until 2030 and Drees & Sommer’s experts will continue to support the client.
