Carbon Neutrality
Reducing costs and ensuring competitiveness: The manufacturing industry faces the challenges of reducing carbon dioxide emissions and ensuring carbon neutrality in production, processes and supply chains. We support companies as they transition to carbon neutrality and, if they want to take things a step further, to become a Beneficial Company.
How can you achieve your climate goals?
- What climate protection targets do you need to achieve in the short and medium term – and how will you demonstrate your results?
- Do you know the carbon reduction potential in your real estate, technical infrastructure and production processes?
- Do you know your corporate carbon footprint?
- Are you satisfied with climate neutrality – or do you want to take things further and become a Beneficial Company?
Your path towards carbon neutrality
Only those companies that produce sustainably and are efficient will remain successful and competitive in the long term. That is why we support you in developing a strategy for achieving carbon neutrality – or indeed for becoming a Beneficial Company, that is, an organization that, as well as being commercially successful, provides the greatest possible benefit for the environment and society.
Our approach is based on the principle ‘Measure, Reduce, Offset’: First, we carry out a detailed analysis of the current situation and record your carbon emissions. Based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol our focus is on direct emissions from combustion processes, indirect emissions from energy production, and all other indirect emissions from your company’s activities. We then examine and define your carbon reduction potential and show you economically viable measures for reducing emissions. On request, we also support the implementation of these measures, as well as subsequent monitoring and reporting.
