enercity Erneuerbare is a project developer and operator of around 1 GW of renewable energy. Following the acquisition of further energy generation portfolios and a significant increase in employee numbers, the company is faced with the challenge of standardizing its procedures, from project planning through to operation, in a stage-gate process using central templates and defining roles with responsibilities. Drees & Sommer was commissioned to create the stage-gate process, identify and describe roles for project management as well as create the project manual for onshore wind and ground-mounted PV systems, and then to train and support staff as part of the change management process.
