Site supervision
Site supervision from A to Z: Our Services as a One-Stop Shop
In service phase 8, project monitoring, we coordinate the implementation of the building work by all trades in cost groups 300 to 500.
We prepare a time schedule using the lean site management system; we ensure the quality of the work with our QA system; we coordinate the construction process and the cooperation between the contractors involved in the work; and we document the progress of the work on the building site. In addition, we carry out acceptance inspections of the building work and take responsibility for bill checking and cost controls.
This enables us to ensure that projects are completed on time, economically and with a high quality.
The Heart of Site Management: Service Phase 8
The core competence of service phase 8 according to the German Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers (HOAI) is project monitoring. The competence of our construction management team at Drees & Sommer covers all cost groups from building construction – structural design (cost group 300) and building services – technical systems (cost group 400) to the outdoor facilities (cost group 500).
Far Sighted But with Our Eyes on the Goal: Four Pillars of Successful Site Management
The success of our project monitoring is based on the four pillars of deadlines, quality, costs and working safety. All elements must be equally coordinated to ensure that the project can be managed to best effect. We achieve this goal with digital processes and lean construction management (LCM). With LCM®, Drees & Sommer applies the lean principles from the manufacturing industry and the agile methods of software development to building processes and construction projects. This improves efficiency in all areas of the project.
