That is the only way to eliminate disruptive factors and risks and identify opportunities at an early stage. And it is also important to safeguard the current status of the project and ensure transparency if responsibility is transferred.
PAST IS DIGITAL AND SYSTEMATIC – AND PROVIDES A QUICK OVERVIEW OF PROJECT STATUS
PAST, our new digital tool, builds on our many years of experience in the analysis of construction projects and has already been used successfully in many customer projects.
It provides customers with sound information in the form of a clearly structured project report. Using a catalog of criteria that have been tried and tested in practice, the tool was developed on the basis of current project management standards such as AHO (Fee Structure Committee of the Associations and Chambers of Engineers and Architects) and PMI and Drees & Sommer experience. PAST uses a transparent scoring process. The report forms an important basis for decision-making during the further course of the project. The analysis can also be carried out several times throughout the project processing to track the development.
TOOL FOR CHECKING THE COMPLETENESS OF CURRENTLY DEFINED PROJECT CONTENT
- Assessment of the project status using a catalog of criteria and a scoring system
- Currently, the catalog of criteria comprises 7 categories, approx. 40 elements and approx. 250 assessment criteria
- Based on established project management standards (AHO, PMI, etc.)
- Adaptation of PDRI

Quick Check for fast results: Our Quick Check examines the most important aspects of your project within one to two weeks. This gives you a clear analysis and recommended courses of action in the shortest possible time.
Detailed analysis for a comprehensive examination: This analysis takes a deep dive and reviews each aspect in detail. This provides you with a detailed result within a few weeks.
OUR APPROACH IS AS FOLLOWS
1. Initialization
- In the first step, we collect all available information for a document review.
- In addition, we conduct interviews with customers and/or the Drees & Sommer project team.
- We coordinate the details of the catalog of criteria with them.
2. Analysis phase
- All data is transferred to our PAST analysis tool.
- Our experts assess the status of the project using PAST, and
- Develop specific courses of action on this basis.
3. Evaluation of results
- We then generate a complete and verifiable analysis and findings report.
- If necessary, we update your team in a results workshop.
