The 'Innere Medizin Süd' is a project in which health care and the needs of university teaching and research are taken into account for all patients. The close proximity of clinical application to medical research thus not only enables new insights for patient care, but also an equally rapid feedback of experiences from direct application to the research area.
In addition to large outpatient and station areas, the new Inner Medicine South includes an oncology centre, a day clinic and generous laboratory areas.
