ZF Kama, the joint venture between ZF Friedrichshafen AG and KAMAZ, the largest truck manufacturer in Russia, has built a new production facility in the Russian city of Naberezhnye Chelny. The company manufactures transmissions for commercial vehicles in the 20,000-squaremeter hall. Drees & Sommer experts supported the project from April 2013 to December 2014. As the client opted for individual contract awards, the Drees & Sommer experts undertook extensive coordination of work on the construction site. During planning, they were closely involved in coordination between the client’s specialist departments in Germany and Russia.
