Drees & Sommer industry expert Pascal Metschel will join the advisory board of the Logistics Real Estate Initiative (Logix).
The advisory board advises the association’s executive board on strategy, orientation and the specific measures and activities of Logix. The advisory board members also support the executive board in realizing specific projects, planning budgets, and using funds provided by the sponsors.
Currently the strongest asset class on the real estate market
Drees & Sommer has been a Logix member for a long time and was already active in the executive board. Pascal Metschel is now continuing this commitment through his role on the advisory board. The overriding aim of Logix is to improve the image of logistics real estate among market participants, local authorities, business development organizations, and the general public. “A central concern is to promote understanding of the challenges and needs of what is currently the strongest property asset class,” says Pascal Metschel, summarizing Logix’s motivation.
For the logistics specialists at Drees & Sommer, this work also means further expanding the networking of the various market participants in order to achieve more sustainable and effective logistics. To this end, Drees & Sommer is developing innovative solutions for the flow of goods within Europe, for example, from the port to the trading center, and from the producer to the end consumer.
